After the Suspects were honored , the season winners were crowned - and what a season it was . The Southern California event was canceled due to weather . The second event in Florida was won by a local team , the Juggernauts , who would not attend any other events . Later in the Spring , the New York Classic was canceled after venue complications led to a late announcement and many teams were not able to add the event to their calendars late into the season . In August , the OG Ironmen would take the top of a field of eight teams to win the Northern California event . So with second place finish at this event , the Ironmen won the series title for the second consecutive year .
That is a high bar to set for the next season ahead .
