The aggressiveness of Suspects , mixed with the notorious intensity of the Ironmen , and the unanticipated extra bodies at midfield were a recipe for fireworks .
“ The last 40 seconds was chaos ,” Conley said . “ He recounted that the Suspects had only three or four live players remaining , and a couple of questionable calls would influence the outcome of the game .” One of his teammates was checked midfield while still shooting and called clean on his face . But Conly can ’ t vouch for the Ironmen player who was engaged in the exchange . “ The other guy was playing on ,” he said , “ probably with multiple hits .”
And that disagreement would lead to some of that old-school chest bumping all the way to the parking lot . It kept it vintage , for sure .
“ They battled hard , and played a nearly perfect event . Heist got us once on bodies ,” Conly said , but beyond that , he expressed nothing but pride for the performance of his squad and high expectations for what lies ahead for the Prime Suspects organization .
“ They fought for everything , and they fought with virtue , both mentally and physically ,” Conly said . “ They fought for every inch as men of honor .”
The Prime Suspects would take home gold for this event , etching their names in woodsball history . www . paintball . media
