Pro & Semipro NXL World Cup Coverage By John Amodea
Once again , the “ greatest show on turf ,” the National Xball League ( NXL ), rolled into Kissimmee , Florida this past November for the 33rd annual Paintball World Cup . The World Cup is far and away the longest running event in the game and it ’ s the biggest event of its kind . This year ’ s even drew a whopping 633 teams from all around the globe including places like the Philippines , Dominican Republic , Puerto Rico , Ecuador , Sweden , Venezuela , Brazil , France , Canada , Aruba , Finland , Ethiopia , Russia , Colombia , Gabon , Germany , Estonia , Japan , Jamaica , Netherlands , Mexico , Denmark , New
Zealand , Czech Republic , Spain , Belgium , Norway , Poland and of course , from nearly all 50 United States . The World Cup is the one legit international paintball event in the world .
As always coming into the final event of the season , there is a lot on the line . There are season series titles up for grabs in every division . For those teams that may have started out slowly , this is a chance to show your sponsors you ’ re worth sticking with for 2024 . And of course there ’ s bragging rights at stake and winning some extra cash heading into the off-season isn ’ t a bad thing either .
