he began running low-impact events which were geared directly towards the youth .
“ We have to create things that give kids the opportunity to play paintball ,” he said . And low-impact has been a successful bridge for him .
“ It ’ s a space where you can teach mechanics like snap shooting , and running and diving , and they get a taste for the game in a lessintense setting ,” he said .
One thing is for certain , growth is happening in the Youth Division . But it remains to be seen if anyone will step up to captain the ship and create a structure for a genuine nationwide series . But whether or not that happens , this generation is experiencing a unique period where their parents , as ex- Pro players themselves , have taken interest in developing the young guns . For the first time , kids are being trained by seasoned and experienced players . And this will definitely increase the level of competition throughout the sport down the road .
