Coming into the biggest event of the year is tough on anyone , but to do it as a completely new team meant they were going to have practice . Luckily the whole team was able to get in before the hurricane closed down airports and they were able to reach out to Bea Paxson for shared practice time .
As with the rest of the event , D4 , five-man was pushed back a day so Stealth didn ’ t have to compete until 6:30 am Sunday morning giving them ample time to watch games and see how the field was playing out in real time . When the event finally started the team came out strong , winning their first three games . Anyone that knew the team and underestimated them were quickly silenced as Erick Klockowski and
Tim Irvin powered down the Dside . Jake James was a consistent snake side attacker with Steven and Anton going up the middle . Victor was good center anchor and it was impressive watching him play while using ASL to communicate with his front players . Through prelims the team went a commanding 6 wins to 2 losses and punched their ticket to the playoffs . Unfortunately they did lose in the round of 16 , but it was promising play overall from the team .
When asking Victor about the team he says they will be back for the 2023 season with five new players , to compete in an Xball division at NXL . They are supported by JT , Boston Paintball , Bki , and Planet Eclipse .
