Closing … Not All Was Perfect
There were so many great things about the 2021 NXL World Cup … 596 teams among them . The Women ’ s exhibition was awesome , the trade show was great , Dynasty once again proved they are nowhere near done and watching the divisional games with their families cheering up and down the fields was great to see .
But all was not perfect . The on-field fight that led to a parking lot brawl between players on the Rejects and PR Allstarz was inexcusable and the teams in question should never see the paying fields ever again , anywhere . And there were several reports of stealing in the trade show area as well as the player pits . The NXL had security everywhere . This isn ’ t going to be fixed by more security . This can only be fixed when teams hold their players accountable and weed out the losers .
Congrats to the NXL , the staff , the day workers , GoSports , the teams and vendors / sponsors . Once again , the NXL World Cup , despite its very few warts , is the gold standard for pro paintball events worldwide . ●●●
