Divisional Games

Of the 19 Semipro teams to enter the 2020 NXL World Cup there were four that went undefeated in the preliminary rounds : New Orleans Hurricanes , Carolina Crisis , New Jersey Jesters and Struggle . Indianapolis Mutiny and Annapolis A-Team each won three of their four first round games . Las Vegas winners Camp Factory did not make the trip from France to this year ’ s World Cup .
In the Semiprofessional quarterfinals it was New Orleans Hurricanes over TCP Machine 5-4 , Carolina Crisis over Blast Camp 8-3 , New Jersey Jesters over Annapolis A-Team 5-4 , and Indianapolis Mutiny over Struggle 5-0 . The New Jersey Jesters knocked off Carolina Crisis in the semifinals 6-5 in game one , while the New Orleans Hurricanes sent Indianapolis Mutiny home early 6-3 .
In the finals it was the New Orleans Hurricanes going wire to wire without a loss , beating the New Jersey Jesters 6-1 to take first place in the Semipro division of the World Cup .
Of the 18 teams to enter the NXL World Cup in Division Two only Plumlife would walk away from the preliminary rounds unscathed . Unfortunately for them , the semifinal would be the end of their World Cup journey as they were knocked off by NRG Elite Alpha 5-4 in round two . In the end it would be Oakland Gray Area defeating Jamaica ’ s TNB 5-4 for the World Cup win .
A very interesting thing happened in Division Three Xball at the World Cup . The top six seeded teams each won all of their preliminary round games and every other team of the 30 that entered took at least one loss . This is the first time in paintball history that the top six seeded teams each won all of their opening
