rounds ac : Diesel and San Diego Dynasty were the only Pro teams to go undefeated , winning all four first round games .
The Los Angeles Ironmen and Edmonton Impact bounced back nicely after their first game losses , each posting wins in their next three games . Tampa Bay Damage , San Antonio X-Factor , Baltimore Revo , Houston Heat and Moscow Red Legion each won three of their four first round games .
The surprise games were not limited to the preliminary rounds . In the ocho rounds Baltimore Revo crushed Houston Heat 7-1 . Raise your hand if you predicted that one . The other ocho round game had the Los Angeles Ironmen getting it done against ac : Dallas 5-4 .
The Pro Xball semifinals were as competitive as any semifinal round we ’ ve seen in years . All four games were close . Edmonton Impact beat the Los Angeles Ironmen 3-1 and the other three games were one-point margin victories : San Diego Dynasty 4-3 over Baltimore Revo , San Antonio X-Factor over Moscow Red Legion 7-6 and Tampa Bay Damage over ac : Diesel 3-2 .
In the first game of the semifinals it was San Diego Dynasty without two of their best players — Yosh Rau and Alex Fraige versus Edmonton Impact . And like every other game Dynasty played at this World Cup , once again they came out on top — and the game was never close . 8-2 Dynasty . Game number two of the pro Xball semifinals was a great one , with San Antonio X-Factor squeaking by a resurgent Tampa Bay Damage .
Before the start of the Professional finals , the league observed 40 seconds of silence in memory of # 40 Tim Montressor , who tragically passed away due to complications of COVID-19 earlier this year . It was a beautiful gesture by
