In the semifinals, the discipline of FiveStar won over Toulouse Purple, 4-2. And Manchester absolutely annihilated an out-classed Outbreak HBI, 4-0.
But all of the energy and excitement drained in the finals match as it shaped into a painful, slow roll. Like watching an arm-wrestling competition between two equally-matched opponents, there was very little movement. Both teams scored one point and then waited for the other to blink. The match went into overtime, and ultimately, Manchester Firm took the 2-1 win over FiveStar in a hard-fought slog. They certainly earned their champagne showers.

Pro 3v3

The Pro 3v3 competition was fast and hot at the British Invitational, and the crowds are beginning to embrace the format. Currently, Shock is at the top of the 3v3, having hit the podium in both of the Pro 3v3 events.
Rohnolt took first place at the Czech Cup, but fell in the overall rankings after sixth place here. Eight teams entered, with only Austin FSU not returning to the competition after a last-place finish in Czechia.
Breakout Spa is proving to be competitive in this format, but has not quite unlocked it. They took third place here, and added themselves to the chase on series leaderboard. The German Ballern Factory Team and Shock sister squad, Offenbach Comin At Ya, currently sit in second and third respectively to round out the top of the series rankings. Going into Dreux, this division is still very much up for grabs.

WNXL

Development in the women’ s division can not be understated. Aside from the growth of professional players who have now been competing at the highest level over four seasons, a new team out of France has joined the ranks of the WNXL once again.
