2025 NXL EU British Invitational
Coming into this event it was Sweden’ s Joy Division sitting atop the NXL EU Professional leaderboard by virtue of their first-place win in Portugal. Norway’ s Ronholt Dynamite held the second seed and they were followed by Belgium’ s Breakout Spa and France’ s LTF. Noticeably absent from the Pro ranks this season is the Toulouse TonTons, who’ ve opted to play in the NXL Stateside— and it looks as though they’ ve made the right choice. TonTon FSU has back-to-back Professional final-round appearances in the US, proving they are one of the top teams in the world right now.
The Professional Xball Games
The 20-team Pro Division is very strong at the top with teams like Joy Division, Paris Camp Carnage, Manchester Firm, Lucky 15s, Breakout Spa, LTF and a handful of others that can win an event any given Sunday. In the preliminary rounds Joy Division, Paris
Camp Carnage, Breakout Spa and LTF all showed why they are top seeds, with each team winning all four first-round games. Offenburg Comin at Ya, Manchester Firm, and Luck 15s Staffordshire each won three of four preliminary round games.
In the Pro ranks the top 10 teams advance to the ocho or quarterfinal rounds. The remaining ten will pack up, go home and get ready for the league’ s finale, the European Paintball Championships in France later in August.
Ballistics Goettingen and Offenburg Comin at Ya, both from Germany, advance out of the ocho round and into the quarterfinals. That would be the end of the line for both as Breakout Spa beat Offfenburg 7-1 and Joy Division beat Goettingen 6-3 in the quarters. The other two quarterfinal games saw Paris Camp Carnage defeating Manchester Firm 3-1 and Lucky 15s Staffordshire taking down a very strong LTF 4-1.
