The reception was easy going without much waiting time to get the event wristband and a magazine style pamphlet with the event info . In there , we could realize that several secundary events were added , bringing some extra spice to the main event .
A fantastic Kill House timed mission , a tactical rappel experience , a sniper challenge , 2nd hand market , a nightvision special game and the magfed tournament in a airball field … tough choices to make !!!
Out of the field the atmosphere was electric , as players set up their camps , checked their gear , and met fellow enthusiasts in the main party area , filled with food & drink stores , plus the big paintball retailers .
The evening featured a meet and greet ceremony with loads of music , and more importantly , friends . This created a festive mood that set the tone for the days to come .
Day 2 : The Battle Commences
Day two marked the beginning of the 7 hour non-stop battles that raged the field , littered with buildings and meticulously designed paintball themed fields , that offered a variety of tactical challenges . Both teams strategized and executed their missions with precision , navigating through the forest , abandoned structures , and open fields .
Highlights included the tough mission to secure the convoy of armoured vehicles and a real tank , through the Battleground ’ s field roads , moving hundreds of players from both factions that engaged in fierce battles topped with hundreds of pyrotechnics , making it a movie like scenario .
