By centralizing the management and marketing systems of the two organizations , and essentially setting the events dates of both series in stone , should make the production of both series more cost-effective . This opens the doors to more creativity , and more opportunities to improve the overall player experience .
And Brian Barno is certainly the man for the job . He was a sensible and seemingly perfect fit for Paul Dagnino , and according a statement released by Barno in mid-June , the intention was to continue working with Honu .
So , what does all of this mean for the players ?
“ The dates for all of the Legends events will stay the same as they have been every year , so it won ’ t change much for the players ,” Barno said . “ They can expect the same level of events they have experienced in the past , and we are excited to add a few more added to the calendar .”
Bones and Ashes will remain on the first weekend of March , and Living Legends will keep its mid-May dates as it has historically . As of this writing , the location for both of those events remains the same . Dreaded Legends has been relocated down to OX Orlando , home of the pirate Dezi Johnson for its standard September show on September 5-7 . And Endless Legends will continue at OX Chesepeake City in Maryland the second weekend of October .
The Super Game events will remain the same as well . Although the Super Game Indiana is no long , and will not return next year to Sherwood Forest , there is an interesting plot twist in the works to keep that game in the heart of the Midwest . Super Game Maryland will be held again in August at OXCC .
