The ENXL held its second invitational event of the 2023 season 7 through 9 July in Penkridge , England which is located in Staffordshire just north of Birmingham , almost directly centered between London and Manchester , making it an ideal place for a July event due its cool and dry summers .
The event was held at the beautiful CPPS , the UK ’ s leading tournament venue , with its famously well-maintained turf and pristine grounds . In total , there were 42 teams in attendance from all more than 13 countries in Europe and two from the United States .
As the second event of the European NXL series , this was by invitation only and was limited to the Pro and Semi Pro divisions , with a concurrent event of the women ’ s league , the WNXL .
At the close of the first event of the 2023 which was held in Sevenum , Netherlands back in May , the leader board was rather tightly stacked . In the Pro Series , Joy Division of Sweden was on top , followed closely by Virst Factory Team of Poland , and the Toulouse TonTons .
In the semi pro division , the French Scalp took top place with Poland ’ s ALA Warsaw , Portragul ’ s S . L . Benfica , and their fellow countrymen with The Indians and Joebar Team right on their heels .
The competition was hot and eagerly anticipated coming into the UK , and in the end it was the French who dominated the weekend . www . paintball . media
