Separately from the money raised by SWAM , more money was raised after this for K9s with Cause . An organization who pairs a service dog with a veteran who can use them for various reason , be it physical or mental . SEAL Harry Bologna , who was attending , is a recipient of a K9 with Cause and spoke for donations directly to that organization .
A new addition to this years tournament was called the “ Kill House ”. A timed course carrying a “ downed soldier ” from point A to B . Each team headed out to the castle of OSG paintball and split into two groups . They each were given a mannequin , a route to follow , and 30 seconds to plan how they were going to get there while crawling under the suppressing fire of one of the SEALs . This event was used to teach communication , leadership , and the effects of stress on the brain . At the end of the timed course the teams were taken aside by the SEAL leading it and told how it could help them in the corporate workplace . Managers seeing how the very simple instructions ( raising a thumbs up to conclude their time ) their teams were given were completely disregarded with just a little bit of stress on the brain was an eye opening learning experience .
The tournament was wildly a success with every attendee worn out from running through the woods all day , learning leadership skills , and anxiously waiting for the best part of the day : The awards and cocktail hour . OSG Paintball runs a small bar and food venue called “ The Bunker ” on site where the awards were hosted so they supplied the breakfast and lunch . Rek-Lis brewing company , Schilling beer company , and Stoneface Brewing company all donated to the event with beers on tap for everyone to enjoy . The prize for the winning team was a whiskey barrel top for each player . The whiskey barrel tops were donated by the distillery Art of the Spirit , who was on site doing a tasting , and signed by each of the attending SEALs .
