In the end, the event was a resounding success!
While I do not have the exact amount raised
handy at the time of writing this, I can say with
absolute certainty that we passed our goal of
raising $10,000. While raising capital to help
others was the reason for the event, it was not
really the point. The point was to bring great
people together, have fun and turn a tragedy
into a positive. All this fun and friendship was
brought about by a terrible murder inflicted
on a beautiful young lady by her controlling
boyfriend. This event is a testament that we
as people can be better. We can rise above
the negativity and violence to help others. In
anger we can extend a helping hand instead
of throwing a fist. The Ally Remembered
Foundation is dedicated to making the world
a better place, one small step at a time. If you
