The New Jersey High Rollers ( 2nd place in Las Vegas ) also won three of their four first round games . As it turned out , three wins was the cut line to play Sunday paintball in this event . Just missing the cut were the Femmes Fatale and San Francisco Sirens , each with two wins . The rest of the field won one game or less in round one .
The semifinals were the end of the line for both Dallas Vibe and New Jersey High Rollers , the first and second place finishers in Las Vegas respectively . And those losses were courtesy of Cheetahs ( 3-1 over New Jersey High Rollers ) and he Heroines ( 5-0 over Dallas Vibe ), setting up a final match of Cheetahs versus Heroines for first place . And like most games in the NXL Xball divisions , this game was close throughout . In the end The Heroines prevailed with a 4-3 victory .
Winning is not new to The Heroines , champs of the 2023 WNXL World Cup and Sunshine State Major events . In fact , in the past two seasons they stood on the podium at every WNXL event .

Semipro Xball

The Semipro division is pretty well stacked with talent at the top of the division , even after the promotion to the Pro division of PaintballFit and Blast Camp that followed their stellar seasons in 2023 . That said , all of the real Semipro competition for a series title is happening among five or six teams . Leverage , TJBastards , Royal City Seadogs , New York Wrecking Crew Noobies and Ology are the six teams that have a real shot at a title . You can possibly argue Greenville Growl and Chicago Distortion still have a shot as well .
