Fresh off of their Lone Star Open first place Pro win , the Red Legion would take on Edmonton Impact in the semifinals for a chance to play Chicago Aftershock in the finals . With 13 Pro wins under their belts since 2014 , Edmonton Impact is a seasoned team full of Pros that know how to win — and this game was a battle start to finish . In the end , the Red Legion ’ s quest to win back-to-back events stayed alive , as they defeated Impact in a bloody 5-4 game .
Could Chicago Aftershock go from out of the league to winning an event in their first season back ? They would have to knock off the powerhouse Red Legion team ( formerly known as the Russian Legion ) that features some of the best and most aggressive players on the planet … J-Rab , Kirill Prikhidni ( how good is this guy ?), Alexander Berdnikov and a roster full of Pro ’ s Pros .
Coach Todd Adamson told his ‘ Shock players , “ We belong here ,” as they prepped for the first point . And with that it was game on . Red Legion dominated the first few points but ‘ Shock battled back getting to within a single point . In the end the Legion pulled away for good . When the clock ran out , it was Red Legion 7 , Chicago Aftershock 4 . Back-to-back finan round showings proved ‘ Shock does in fact , belong . And the Red Legion proved they are back after taking home the gold in both Texas ( via New Jersey ) and Atlantic City … their first two wins post- Covid .

WNXL ( Women ’ s Pro Xball League )

Ten teams entered the WNXL Xball division at the Mid Atlantic Major . Of those ten , Cheetahs ( 4th place in Las Vegas ) and Heroines ( 3rd place in Las Vegas ) each rolled to undefeated preliminary rounds . Las Vegas winners , Dallas Vibe won three of their four games , losing only to the Cheetahs 3-0 in the prelims . www . paintball . media
