With the fluctuations and the changes happening in the industry arena of paintball scenario productions , there is something that has stayed consistent : The costs to play these enormous events has increased exponentially . As if playing a virtual game of financial chicken , the producers of major events like Super Game and CPX Legends , as well as the smaller events , are continuing to raise costs year-over-year . Skirmish appears to have jumped in on this game as well , with the prices increasing more than 50 percent from 2022 to what was announced for 2025 .
From the players , there is a massive outcry . They say they aren ’ t seeing an increase in the quality of the product they are buying , many saying they are playing the same game with very few , if any improvements . Are there better props ? New , creative missions ? Integration of role players to make the game more interactive and interesting ? Better facilities ? Better paint ? Better air systems ? Better rental equipment ?
