In recent years , DJ Productions , a brainchild of the notorious and relentless Dezi Johnson , has put on some of the most elaborate independent scenario games in the country down at Outdoor Xtreme Battlefield Orlando . Seemingly the largest of these events is the Jurassic game hosted at the end of March , which is becoming an annual season kick-off game for many teams up and down the east coast .
This year ’ s event , Jurassic : Waterworld , reeled in the teams once again for a long battle and shenanigans galore .
One of the distinctive features of this game is that it is always generaled by females . Every year , DJ Productions chooses a different pair of lady ballers to square off and try their hands at commanding . This year , it was Asher Gray of Team Evolution who headed up the yellow Megaladons facing off against Bryce Rhodes from Battle Maidens representing team Mosasaurus in Team Pink .
It ’ s not uncommon to see elaborate costumes at this event . From the outset , there were inflatable dinosaur costumes woven into the fabric of the event . From there , teams have taken to creating themed costumes of their own . For Waterworld , Dezi and company added in shark fin costumes to add some willful suspension of disbelief to the cartoon-style theatrics .
