Whether one chooses to command the Ceres Metal Industries or the Corean Consortium they must also realize that they have to occasionally collide with a band of savages , the CHAR . A third faction , under the control of producer DJ Honu Fox , and for this year led by Archangel Mikel , is placed in strategic areas of the field to moderately disrupt the normal point grab of the two competing sides . They can gain no points towards the end result of the game and only exist to be a pain in the backside for both commanders . The CHAR is controlled by a respawn cone that is placed in their predetermined area and they are given timed missions to take on any and all challengers . Both red and blue teams will have to compete with this team , at the same time , for the chance of gaining whatever objective the CHAR might be near . These pain loving individuals take their job seriously and love every minute of it . As the old saying goes , a gun fight with the CHAR is much akin to wrestling a pig in the mud , you eventually realize that the pig is having fun . Almost any red or blue player that enters Bones and Ashes has either had one of the most exciting gun fights or one of the most disappointing deaths due to this green machine . The only way the CHAR can be forcibly killed is by taking their respawn cone . In the five years that Bones and Ashes has been in operation , nobody has ever taken CHAR ’ s respawn cone but everyone should try .
A great CPX Legends event is an intricate clockwork design of moving parts , so many items / people must be in place at roughly the proper times . There is a set plan on start times , mission times and even time for chaos ( CHAR spawns ); there are variables as well like incidents that are out of anyone ’ s control . The absolute success of a CPX event or any other event is the players . The player experience does depend on the game production and the field ’ s facilities , but it also depends on what the players put into the experience themselves . CPX goes above and beyond to provide a player and family friendly atmosphere . They design games that are fun for all ages and player types , they pack in gunfights , adventure and challenging objectives .
Black Ops paintball is an ever improving paintball paradise . They have a 150 + acre field that they are always improving and adapting for players wants and needs . They provide plenty of camping and parking spaces to accompany over a thousand players , equipping different areas with delicious food , full air fills and staging areas . Their proshop is fully stocked to meet all players ’ needs , maybe even the needs they didn ’ t know they had until walking into this paintball / airsoft supermarket . What makes CPX Events such as Bones and Ashes extraordinary is in how the players have responded to the environment that has been provided for them . In the time leading upto B & A 2022 players worked tirelessly to build the game as much as they could to push their game beyond the 1000 player mark . They also started to develop their own groups aside from the normal red and blue teams and even the abnormal green teams . Players came together Saturday to celebrate themselves with satire awards , cupcake eating contests and partaking in adult beverages quickly out of a glass boot . Madfrog ’ s group designed and produced an adult beverage pingpong based event . All this combined with delicious food sold by Black Ops and CPX ’ s American Gladiator
