The CPX Legends event series came in like a wrecking ball to begin 2022 , shattering records destroying any doubt that Bones and Ashes is taking the scenario paintball world by storm . Players traveled from all over the country to Black Ops Paintball , in Fayetteville , NC , to participate in the 5th annual Bones and Ashes scenario game , a 3-day event of family , frivolity and clashing titans . This game has quickly become CPX ’ s marquee event for the east coast , first drawing a unique online following then culminating into a record breaking crowd , Bones and Ashes has now become one of the few , if not the only , scenario game to reach over 1,000 plus players in attendance within 5 years of its inception . This is a huge honor for CPX , Honu and Lani Fox , and Black Ops Paintball . It goes to show you what can be created when you make the player experience and the love of paintball your top priority . Bones and Ashes 2022 sees
the return of 2021 ’ s victorious commander Ceres Metal Industries ( Red team ) leader Chuck “ Clutch ” Garza from the Head Hunterz taking on the newest contender Corean Consortium ( Blue team ) leader Jim “ Avalanche ” Rost of the Rogue Patriots . Both of these generals and their XO ’ s have had to endure months of recruiting and preparation as well as a barrage of Facebook memes , their time has finally come and only one team goes home with eternal glory .
Bones and Ashes , like all CPX events , is centered around a scenario competition as players can readily assume but it actually offers so much more to the player . The player experience tends to lead the competitive edge more than the competition and player experience is what CPX offers . Bones and Ashes truly begins months before with preparation , recruiting and storm of social media shenanigans . All the pregame hype
