We all know what a JT Proflex is . It ’ s legendary . It ’ s iconic . It is the single most recognizable mask in paintball and for good reason . JT has been making top quality goggles since almost the beginning . Fit , comfort , protection ; JT is the yardstick by which all other paintball goggles are measured … and these new Dark Urban Camo goggles are just amazing .
Traditionally , JT goggles have always been solid colors . People would mix and match sections for their own custom builds . Paintball Retro has brought these camouflage goggles to life out of many paintball player ’ s fantasies in a what I can only imagine was like a scene out of the movie Weird Science . In truth , I can ’ t tell you right now , what I find sexier , these goggles or Kelly Lebrock .
These are a dark grey camouflage making them both sexy and mean looking all at the same time . Now most masks these days are modular , consisting of the 3 main parts : the goggle frame , straps , and face mask . What really makes these Proflexs special is that there are 3 options for the face mask ! You can purchase the Dark Urban Camo Proflex as is , or you can have one or both of two optional face masks included in your purchase . The two optional facemasks are Blackout Dark Urban Camo with a camo upper and black rubber lower and the Grayscale Dark Urban camo with the camo upper and a light grey rubber lower . I have to say that my current personal preference is the mask stock with the dark grey upper and the camo rubber lower , but that Blackout face mask is really grabbing my attention . That ’ s the way it should be though , right ? Yes , this is a game / sport where we all wear masks but self expression with our gear is just as much a part of this game / sport as the time spent playing .
