So what should we expect from the Latin Saints this season and beyond ? Some teams , like XSV jell right away . Bonds form quickly on and off the field , egos are put aside for the betterment of the team and all of the players get on the same page and talent takes over . The same thing happened with Houston Heat with their three wins and a season title in 2012 . But other teams like the Russian Red Legion , which formed in 2000 , took four solid years before they became a powerhouse , even with an unlimited budget , the best players from Eastern Europe and the ability to pull top pros from the US . So it ’ s a wait and see on the Latin Saints .
The 2022 Sunshine State Major event was held in the same location as the previous five World Cup events — across the street from the Gaylord Palms Resort in Kissimmee , Florida . Anyone familiar with the area knows it ’ s got everything — inexpensive hotels , house rentals , restaurants , shopping and of course , Florida weather .
The Sunshine State Major saw 248 teams , across 15 divisions — a nice showing for the first major of the season . For the 2022 season the NXL will be hosting four major and three open events .
