As the Roughnecks pushed farther into bug territory, the harder it became to take the objectives. SATURDAY After the opening battle, the Roughnecks were able to get to their base and start running missions. The only problem - the BUGS! Due to a tunnel system created by the bugs, they were able to be every where at the same time. The Roughnecks would push on one front, and then all of a sudden, they would be attacked from behind. Throughout the day, the bugs would attack the base to keep the troopers occupied at the base and keep their missions from being accomplished. Most of these attacks were lead by the scenario team, Black Karma. While the attacks continued, the bugs were able to complete their missions. One smart bug kept eliminating troopers without being seen. The bug hid in the outhouse by the main structure on the field and waited for unsuspecting troopers to walk into his line of sight. This went on for awhile until one smart trooper finally figured out where he was. It was not a pretty sight when the bug got squashed. As the sun sat on Bear Claw; excuse me, Klendathu, the bugs were ahead by 1,000 points. The only way that the troopers could come back was to press harder on Sunday. SUNDAY – A NEW DAY As the sun rose on Sunday morning, players slowly started moving around to get ready for the day. After thawing the coffee, eating breakfast, and chronoing, the players headed to the field. The bugs were determined to keep their lead and the troopers were ready to reduce that lead and get ahead. The teams on the Troopers side made a determination to work together and push on the Arachnids’ base so they could run their missions. The troopers discovered the bug tunnels and started to sneak around the field using them. With this fierce determination, the Roughnecks started interrupting the Bugs’ missions and started completing theirs. A group www.paintball.media 085
