Viper’s Quest for the Grail is a much-
anticipated event. Between the gameplay, the roleplaying,
the spankings, etc. This was one of the coolest, weirdest
paintball events I have ever been to. Viper is known for his
phenomenal scenario events, but this one definitely takes
the cake. This event was also celebrating Viper’s 20th year
of Viper Paintball! This event took place at the beloved
TXR Paintball Field in Houston, Texas, which is a popular
venue amongst Viper Paintball fans. With acres of woods,
bunkers, cityscapes, and so much more, this field is a
paintball players dream.
Friday everybody was setting up camp, talking, playing
beer pong, and watching a movie. Friday night the
usual camaraderie was happening like at any other Viper
scenario. Team Defiant had their usual party camp going
on where everyone was welcome. Spencer Tesanovich

from Defiant also had beer pong table set up for anyone
to play! Not too far away from there, people were all
cuddled up with lawn chairs and blankets watching the
movie this whole game was based off of, Monty Python
and the Holy Grail. For some players, quoting this movie
was like second nature. For others, this was the first time
they had even seen the movie; they just wanted to come
out for a great Viper event! No matter if the person is a
Monty Python fan, or a new player, they all were fans of the
movie after this weekend.
Saturday did not start too early, but had the usual Young
Guns briefing, player orientation, chronographing, etc.
Game on was promptly at Noon, signaled by the infamous
Viper flare. The players started strong, and so did the
role players. For those of you that have not seen the
