the field as you watch the enemy just
keep raising their hands to leave as you
hit them from such far distances, which is
a game changer in big games!
Orange pushed hard in the middle of
the game and almost caught up to blue
team, but in the end, blue won the battle
of the day and we all got ready for Reign
in Paint which is the final battle where the
hits don’t count and you just try to iron
man as long as you can take it or until you
run out of paint or air. Shields are allowed
and many are quite creative. Players dress
up in all kind of garb and it is an amazing
display of the firepower on paintball fields
today! Many think they will just stand
in the open and take it, and after a few
seconds, they almost always bail due to
how many hits they are taking.
Tippmann and GI Sportz had a tent on

site where they were doing free marker
repairs and selling gear, and the bi annual
big sale was being held that day as well
so deals were to be had! I even got a
new 6+1 belt as my 10 year old one finally
broke in pieces. It had rained for 10 days
straight before the big game, so everyone
was covered in mud and paint and grins
were seen all over as players exited the
field and headed to the staging area next
to the new Time Trials course that you
can compete with players all over the
country to see if you can get the fastest
time with your paintball gun. The crowd
gathered in front of the military vehicle
where prizes were thrown out and passed
out to matching numbers from your entry.
Everyone who wanted one also got free
Trails of Doom stickers. It was an incredible
day and I can’t wait until October for the
next battle of Ohio at Splatterpark! Come
on out and join us for an epic battle!
