or Backwoods Banshees to attend this event or to attend other community events that take place all across this great country of ours. You can follow Modern Day Pirates to jump aboard for a chance to attend the next community event or you can create your own and show the world that paintballers may be savage warriors but they have huge hearts. Day two had finally arrived, some were ready to roll the minute they climbed out of their rack, some were flying on a caffeine powered cloud and some were limping along still sore from day one’s punishment. Every player knew that there were only two missions, a final battle and for Russia, China and America a steep hill to climb. America and Europe had allied to fend off China and Russia to start day two. Mission 6 was one of the more complex missions to jolt all the players awake, it highlighted four specific areas across the map the needed taking. Europe only needed to score a fair amount of points in the last two missions to secure their win for this event which was exactly what they did not do. America and Europe were unable to fend off their opponents handing Europe their first “loss” of the event, this seemingly revived the other factions like blood in shark infested waters. Mission 7 saw America and Russia trying to gather their missiles and launch their warheads before the Europeans and Chinese could gain access, a mission that was back and forth like some of the greatest tennis matches. All factions saw success and defeat in this mission, the last mission before the devil at the bottom of the Inferno, final battle. America had started to climb the ladder towards Europe but had not quite made the gains that Russia and China had made on Europe, making it a close race going into the final battle. Mission Masters production staff have made quite a few changes to Armageddon since last year, always keeping the players guessing. They monitor feedback and review mission outcomes after each event to fix any possible problems and to make the game more challenging than the year before. They continuously strive to improve the player experience by refining missions, theme oriented and very detailed props and a vast array of tasks. Their games have something for every type of player out there from speedballer to magfed operator. Mission Masters maps each field and cuts it down into fitting sections for each mission, effectively concentrating your firefights and making tasks more challenging to accomplish. For some there is a special anticipation, a rite of passage, when it comes to a final battle. It is the culmination of an incredible, exhausting and adventurous weekend. There is no real want for the weekend to end but that yearning to know the outcome of your and your teammates’ efforts. With some events, as is with Mission Masters, you know where you stand coming into the final battle and some you are not quite sure. It is the fourth quarter, the final chapter, the fruit of your labors. Going into this last mission each faction knew exactly where they stood, Europe was still the team to beat but all the other teams had caught up to them with the hopes www.paintball.media 073
