The DPL is one of the biggest paintball
leagues in the world with roughly 450 teams
per season, eight different leagues, eleven
locations and up to fifteen DPL training
locations. Founded in 2003 as a successor of
the open leagues, the DPL has grown year
by year. In 2005 the GPPL und the DPL joined
forces and started the first “Bundesliga,”
which is the highest level German league. A
year later they also established the second
“Bundesliga” and the “Regionalliga”
leagues. In 2008 the German Offspring
league and the amateur league started a
cooperation with the DPL and formed the
biggest national paintball league in Europe.

This newly constructed system allowed
teams to participate at the lower levels
and rise from one league to the next as
they progressed on the playing fields. The
current lowest level league is the Bezirksliga,
which is a local beginner’s league. The DPL
is offering a special promotion program to
