hopes to at least give them a run for
their money. Final Battles are where
you leave it all on the table. You take all
your paint, all you air and every bit of
energy you have left with nothing but
thoughts of holding that trophy high
in their air. A MM final battle is not a
slugfest between all the players, there
are still missions to accomplish. This
year, unlike the two previous years, it
was every faction for themselves, to the
victor goes the spoils. Final battle was
every man and woman to the castle,
hang your flag, deposit your warhead
and deliver your dummy. When the horn
breached the air, the stampede began.
The Europeans made it to the walls of
the castle, as did all the other factions,
but they were met, like everyone else,
by the field mercs. Europe fought the
mercs in front of them, the Americans
to the right and the Russians to the left.
It was panning out to be the hardest
fought battle of the weekend until it
took an unusual twist. Having multiple
teams on a field at once has always
produced much more interesting
outcomes than a two team brawl.
There are alliances, double crosses
and just about all the shenanigans
under the sun. Armageddon 2019 was
no different.
What the Europeans did not expect
to see was the Chinese, Russians
and Americans standing side by side
shooting at them, apparently knowing
they could not beat the Europeans
single-handedly, they made a deal to
take the victory out of the hands of
the Europeans and toss it in the air
like a jump ball. All the teams fought
hard in the final battle and throughout
the entire weekend. There was not

a player on the field that did not feel
that soreness for the next few days,
Mission Masters’ Armageddon really
does test every faculty a true paintball
player could possess.
In the end,
once the scores were tallied, it was not
the Europeans that walked away from
a dominant weekend with the win but
the Russians that never gave up and
continued to dig. Congratulations to
Dominion and the Russians for their
2019 victory at Armageddon and Hell
Survivors. Congratulations to Mission
Masters for yet another exquisite game,
they truly do drive the best out of every
player that attends their events. Thank
you to the refs for your attentiveness
and tenacity, you all truly provided an
amazing weekend for the players and
thank you to the media personnel that
place their bodies and equipment
in harms way to make us all look like
heroes. Follow Mission Masters for
