and this itself was a story, as the marker
rules for the event allowed everything from
modern electronic markers (with their rates of
fire cranked all the way down) to mechanical
markers, and a full cross-section showed up,
from Luxe and Eclipse high-end markers to
all shapes, sizes and ages of Autocockers and
even a sprinkling of Automags. The GOG
eNMEy was extremely popular at the event
due to its performance-to-price ratio, and
plenty of Empire Resurrection Autocockers
were at the event. As for the teams shooting
them, new-age players mixed in with old-
school players seamlessly as some historic
names put their bands back together for
the event. Brimstone Smoke chose the
Southern Open to get back together and
play, as did Adrenaline, Chattanooga C.E.P
and legendary Carolina team Gridlock,
while the Master Blasters and Ground Zero
came down from New York. Farside headed
southeast from Chicagoland along with the
Shocktech Factory Gunfighters, a heavily
stacked team of old and new school greats,
while the Saberwolves came out with a strong
roster. Fight Club brought three squads of
Autococker-toting players, while the Bibb
City Bad Boys and the Family pulled together
well-stocked squads. Off the field, a high
point of the event was the attendance of Bill
