Valken has recently introduced their
Phantom gear bags, cases and backpacks,
which include a large rolling gear bag, a
travel duffel bag, a travel backpack and an
entire line of protective cases that works
in conjunction with the gear bags. Let’s
have a look at the Phantom Backpack.
First of all, picking one of these up
you can see and feel the quality and
the thoughtfulness of the design.
Dual stretch mesh water bottle
pockets are probably the first thing
you’ll notice. Double stitching and
durable mesh ensure these will
last, unlike the mass produced
back packs you’ll find in big box
stores. The Phantom Backpack
also provides and external, side-
access laptop compartment that can
accommodate laptops up to 15 inches
in size (which is most common). There’s a
nice internal iPad and documents pocket that
will hold your device, a notepad, papers and any other standard letter sized documents
you may have. The Phantom Backpack has a fleece-lined catch-all/sunglasses pocket
that will keep things safe. And one of the nice extras of this backpack is the mobile office
organizer which accommodates pens, back up batteries, hard drives, thumb drives and
more.
All of the main handles and straps are thick, comfortable and durable, as is the entire
