I’m not sure I can recall this ever happening
before: Seven of the top eight teams, when
all was said and done in Division Three at
the ‘Cup, were playing their first event of
the season. Division Three has traditionally
been unpredictable with teams coming and
going and many teams entering the events
closest to them. But to have seven of the
top eight teams playing their first event of
the year is unprecedented. In the end it was

to take first place. TBD Jits was the only team

second place finish they were able to secure

attending teams be able to cut through
the pack and win the event, with so much
competition? The answer is a resounding
“yes.” Project Mayhem, winners of the
Chicago Open, suffered one harmless loss
in the preliminary rounds, then went on a
tear, winning out the rest of the way to take
first place. The win also gave them enough
seed points to run away with the Division
Four rankings title. Miami Lost Boys had
a great run for a first time event, but came
up shor, losing by a single point to Project
Mayhem. HVP Wrecking Crew came in third
and Garden State Goats placed fourth in the
event.
