Planet Eclipse GTEK 160R

Planet Eclipse unveiled the GTEK two years ago and what an unveiling it was! The GTEK introduced Eclipse quality, spool-valve performance at a midlevel price, making professional quality affordable to the masses. Coming in at under $ 600 the GTEK reviews were in: Five stars at Amazon, PbNation and just about everywhere else. And with good reason … The versatile Gamma Core drivetrain utilized in the GTEK allowed players to use a more brittle paint, it produced a much quieter shot report and it was ultra-efficient. In fact, you could easily argue that the Gamma Core drivetrain was comparable to or even better than any high-end marker’ s design in the game.

Enter the GTEK 160R. Everything you loved about the original GTEK, the Gamma Core drivetrain, the efficiency,
the quiet shot signature, the reliability and performance in every area— all packaged inside an all-metal billet-machined aircraft-grade anodized aluminum body. At first glance the GTEK 160R is a thing of beauty. It feels as good in your hands as it looks. The stretched pitch of the foregrip and frame provide shooting stability, weight balance and comfort. Incredibly, the 160R weighs in at just a few ounces over two pounds with the barrel and battery. Pick one up; you will be surprised at the weight, balance and feel. And don’ t sweat it, it’ s a durable and well-built as any Planet Eclipse marker.
In order to be able to shoot the most fragile paint possible, the Gamma Core employs a very finely controlled 3-stage bolt acceleration profile to gently pick up the ball and push it into the barrel.
