one stands out, he stands out for his
readiness, enthusiasm and willingness
to be available for whatever task was
needed. Jake Muehlius was brought in as
a walk-on to the Buccaneers but proved
to be an asset in whatever endeavor was
to be accomplished.
His willingness to take on different tasks is
what makes him stand out and his ability
to accomplish tasks whether it be him
alone or as part of a group truly made his
presence indispensable. Despite being
relatively new to paintball and not part of
an organized team he was a welcomed
member as a Buccaneer and he was a
walk-on. You will never know what people
can accomplish unless you give them the
opportunity, and it is just a game, why not
give someone a chance to shine.
As players ready themselves for Final
Battle it seemed the Buccaneers had the
game already wrapped up. In an amazing

show of heart and sportsmanship the
Marauders did not give in, they did not
back down and they fought their hearts
out. The Final Battle for Dreaded Legends
4 was a true spectacle in competitiveness.
From the start the Marauders hammered
every part of the field, you would have
never known they were behind in points
by the way they stormed the field and
dominated the back half. For the entire
Final Battle the Marauders did not allow
the Buccaneers a single inch of that back
field, punishing any player that dared
the approach. Both Red and Blue teams
displayed what it meant to be a Legend
for the entire weekend. Sportsmanship,
competitiveness and love of the sport
were on display as if they were putting on
a clinic to show the world how it is done.
The first CPX Legends event in Myrtle
Beach, Dreaded Legends 4, belonged to
the Buccaneers but all the players should
hold their head high for the passion and
ambition that they poured into this game.
