It seemed as though a stalemate could
be looming but Red’s control of the
Tobacco fields and filling in towards the
Gallows gave them control of the field,
a control they did not want to relinquish.
The Buccaneers had to rely on gaining
territory from the back of the field to cut
into Marauder hordes and ruling the High
Seas battles, Honu’s newest addition
to Dreaded Legends. The Buccaneer
leadership quickly launched a successful
offensive to cut off the Marauders and
eventually pin them into their base, only
allowing for sporadic advances. Although
they were given opportunities to either
fight their way out or advance from
different areas, the Marauders were unable
rally themselves into an organized attack
and thus unable to gain many points.
They did manage, just as the Buccaneers
did, to gain access to a treasure chest,
what would a Pirate game be without
treasure, unfortunately there was no key,
only the notion of keys to come. Day One

belonged to the Buccaneers but Day Two
was near and the question about field
advantage would soon be answered.
Black Ops Paintball in Myrtle Beach may
be 13-acres but what it doesn’t have in
size is well made up for by design. The
creators of this field created a tactical
paradise and a place to meet every
player’s wants, including a speedball
field equipped with air bags. Honu took
advantage of these facilities by adding in
the High Seas battles. He placed missions
to form different speedball teams out of a
variety of different players, some specific in
personnel and some specific in numbers.
This created much off-field excitement
in the players and spectators as well as
called out paintballers that do not always
fancy an all-day scenario. It offered a way
for players to assist their team with points
in a different avenue. Tourney ballers of
all types jumped at this chance to rule the
