The turnout for Division Three Xball was
the highest of any division in Barcelona at
23 teams. Consilium Dei Zuerich, P8Family
and Energy each won their four preliminary
round games. LA Sect, Toulouse Purple and
Scarface Tarbes each won three. P8Family,
Consilium Dei Zuerich, Energy and LA Sect
all made it to and through the quarterfinals
but it was LA Sect and Consilium Dei Zuerich
that would square off head to head to see
who had enough gas left in the take to win
this event. When the smoke cleared it was
LA Sect beating Consilium Dei Zuerich 5-4 in
a great match for first place. P8Family took
third place.

Eleven teams entered Division Four Xball
with six teams advancing to Sunday play.
Azimut Paintball Team and Black Wolf were
perfect through the preliminary rounds and
both would play through to the semifinals on
Sunday. If was however, Toulouse Purple that
would take first place by knocking off Azimut
Paintball Team 2-0 in the finals. Black Wolf
took third and Rasaloba took fourth. Drugs
Frankfurt took the seven-man division.
The first event of the season for the NXL
Europe was a success by all measure. The
vendor show was again very well done; the
atmosphere was great; the competition was
as expected; and the surprises on the field
were many. See you all in Paris!
