Europe or Millennium Series leaderboard.
This honor now belongs to Moscow Red
Legion—at least until Paris the end of May. In
the game for third place, Edmonton Impact
beat Houston Heat 5-1.
Parity is the name of the game in the NXL
Europe Semipro division. In the preliminary
rounds no team won all four games and
only two teams lost all four. Ranger Warsaw,
Russian Roulette, Amsterdam Heat, Breakout
Spa 2, Vienna united and Joebar Team stood
out in the preliminary rounds as playing at
just a slightly higher level than the rest of the
field in the opening round. In the semifinals
it was Breakout Spa 2 with a 4-3 win over
Vienna United. Joebar Team beat Ranger
Warsaw 5-3. Joebar Team continued their
stellar play in the finals where they knocked
off Breakout Spa 2 - 3-1. Vienna United beat
Ranger Warsaw 5-1 to take third place.
Twenty teams entered Division Two Xball with
only Virst Factory Team and Sheriff winning
their four first round games. Headshot
Moscow, Droogs Horrorshow, Ugly Ducklings,
Jets Dresund, Knights and Ronholt Dynamite
all looked sharp in the opening round as
well. Sheriff and Virst Factory Team each got
through the quarterfinals unscathed but in
the semifinals Sheriff lost to Jets Orsund 3-2.
In the finals Virst Factory Team shutout Jets
Orsund 4-0 for the event win. Sheriff beat the
Ugly Ducklings 4-0 to take third place.
