They do not stop with just creating an enjoyable big game but they also bring them to fields around the country from the East Coast to West Coast and now including Hawaii. If you have ever been in the middle of a difficult mission wondering who is responsible then look no further than Co-Producer Michael O’Connell, one of the brains behind the design, storyline and mission planning. CPX’s staff is very multifaceted, they also provide Refs who focus on the safety of the players and mission control, led by Kevin Millette, their response for onfield malfunctions is quite impressive for such a big game. For the players in attendance to Living Legends 12 you may have noticed a highly motivated and very animated Ref staff. Solstice Law is a very experienced crew that focus on player safety and sportsmanship throughout the game, and they also lend a hand to CPX to cover missions. Their determined focus and enthusiasm for their job has left a noticeable mark in the Paintball community. Last, but not least by a long shot, is our photographers. A photographer’s journey doesn’t just start on Friday like everyone else, their journey starts days, even weeks, in advance. They are responsible for the reliability, protection and production of their expensive equipment. Our photographers put their body and their equipment on the line to make our experience much more enjoyable, infact, all these people mentioned above not only place their body and equipment in danger but they also spend much of their free time or vacation days to enhance the experience for the player. If and when you ever receive the opportunity, show appreciation and patience for the people working hard for the player. Day 2, rise and shine, the question of the morning was not what had to be done. That question was simple, Di Inferi had to dominate the day to give them an opportunity to take home the win. The question was the weather, with rain on Friday, thunderstorms on Saturday and forecasted rain all day Sunday would the Red team have the opportunity or the forces to take on Blue. With the sun shining early morning Sunday players were not concerned with what would be later in the day, que sera sera, they were only concerned with the situation at hand, WAR! The Red team, slighted from the previous day, had everything to prove and nowhere to go but up. The Blue team, sitting in a comfortable lead, had momentum in their corner and domination in their eyes, they wanted a clean sweep. Photo By Aaron Dill www.paintball.media 097
