Living Legends 12 tells the story of the
Crusade versus Di Inferi with Sebastian
“Seabass” Alvarez, leading the Crusade
(Blue), taking on Brandon “B-Rad” Paige,
leading Di Inferi (Red). The lead up to
this game was quite reminiscent to old
television pro wrestling. There was quite
an active and comical Facebook war going
on between the Commanders and many of
their supporters. They definitely delivered
the pregame hype that any producer could
hope for, but could they bring the numbers,
in the game of Living Legends the size of
your hoard does matter! If you do not come
prepared and ready to fight at every corner
then you will find yourself getting nice and
cozy in the confines of your own base. Come
Friday the preregistration was over, and with
a resounding 1100+ players signed up it was
proving to be an all-out war!
most importantly, you have a chance to see
friends and family that you haven’t seen in
some time. You get to relive the memories
of old and get geared up to make some
new memories. Living Legends also offers a
taste of Legends, given that a few years ago
they started the Paintball Hall of Fame and
began inducting the founding members of
our great sport a chance to meet the people
that laid the foundation of what we enjoy
today. If you stay into Friday evening you
can involve yourself in the Beer Conference,
also started a few years ago, it was a group of
avid beer connoisseurs that came together
to share and sample beers from their areas.
It has since grown to become one of the most
sought after Friday events at Living Legends,
coming only second to the Pump/Magfed/
Mech game. This year players involved in the
Pump/Magfed/Mech event on Friday were
automatically entered in for a chance to win
