Legion got off to a fast start in the Pro
Xball preliminary rounds, each winning
all four of their games. ML Kings, Joy
Division, Houston Heat, Paris Camp
Carnage, Ronhold Blast and Golden
State Kings each won three of four first
round games. That’s an unusually high
percentage of teams winning three or
more games. That also means there
was a high number of teams losing
three or four first round games. Only
one team split their four first round
games.
As it happened in Barcelona, Moscow
Red Legion, Houston Heat, Edmonton
Impact and Golden State Kings
made it through to the semfinals—
and again it was Moscow Red Legion
and Golden State Kings that would
advance to the finals. The final round
match would be a hard fought battle
that in the end would go Moscow Red
Legion’s way, 5-4. In the fight for third
place Edmonton Impact beat Houston
Heat 5-2. The end result and top four
Pro team order was identical to that of
Barcelona.

First Place: Moscow Red Legion
Second Place: Golden State Knights
Third Place: Edmonton Impact
Fourth Place: Houston Heat
The Semiprofessional division in
Chantilly saw 14 teams entered.
Amsterdam Heat and SL Benfica ran
through the preliminary rounds with
perfect 4-0 records, while Ranger
Warsaw and Vienna united each won
three. Amsterdam Heat and SL Benfica
would remain perfect until they met in
the Semipro finals. Heat got off to a
