the missions and conserve, or block the
other team from completing their goals.
Once again, you have another special
character that must me kept alive. Your
last special character that will require an
entourage of armed men/women would
be your Hydrologists that required special
equipment to draw water samples and
turn them in for points. As most scenario
players know but some may not, you
can shoot as many people as you want
throughout the day but you will not win
the game if you do not complete the
missions. Missions are points and points
win the game. The special characters
and the ones running missions may need
the help, so take a chance and complete
a mission with them or complete the
mission yourself, become part of the win,
become a legend!
Saturday had arrived and with it the storm.
The anticipation is palpable as players
assemble their setups. Some players wipe
down their mask to clean off the residue
of the previous slaughter while others
discuss paint and air fills. CPX producers
have given their speech, the commanders
allowed their few minutes as the fire
grows in the hearts and minds of
the players. The masks are down, the
barrel socks are off and everyone is at
the mark, ready to dine on enemies.
The warrior mentality begins, “where
you are going, what you can anticipate
and what exactly is the CHAR and where
are they?” '30 seconds to go' rings
through the air from the refs, you can
hear the heartbeats of every player on
the field, this is what they came for, who
will get first blood, will they be the cream
that rises to the top and get to their
position, control it, make if theirs
