The Saturday morning before a CPX
scenario paintball event is always
electric. The heat is rising, the pressure
is condensing, it is the calm before the
storm.
Competitors, gladiators and
gods of war prepare themselves and
their teams for a battle of wits, tactic and
competitiveness. For some it is glory, for
some hubris, some just want to have fun
and for a select group a high body count
will do. This is not your normal war for
props, points and territories, DJ Honu
Fox added in some extra spices to this
gumbo. In a world where geologists and
scientists had to tread lightly to gather the
precious materials, and their respective
armies had to find ways for them to move
about safely, the production staff added
in a pack of honey badgers to the mix and

we all know that honey badgers do not
care. They will we eat any living thing,
they are unstoppable, unwavering and
dangerous to ANY group that comes in
their path. These exotic lands belong to
the CHAR and to pass through you must
pay their toll with lives. This is not your
normal scenario paintball game, this is a
game where salt is regularly poured into
open wounds and only true grit survives,
this is Bones and Ashes.
Friday March 8th, 2019 kicked off the
CPX Legends event series for the year at
Black Ops Paintball in Fayetteville, NC.
Dreaded Legends, which had been the
kick off event has moved to a new field
and a new time.
