TEAM ARMADA CLASSIC ROSTER
Team Armada’s roster has not yet be finalized for the 2019 OCPL season. When it
is we’ll bring it to you.
Team Armada was created to be part
of the ICPL and to bring more playing
opportunities to paintball players from
Mexico. The roster contains players from
several of Mexico’s teams that compete
in the UWL (Ultimate Woodsball League).
From team captain Raul Ibarra, “We
asked former UWL captains in the Open
category to send their two or three best
players to be part of the Armada Team
and that’s how we got started.” The team
is training hard to compete in this first
season of the ICPL. Ibarra continued, “It
has been a challenge to have our players
practice all at the same time, since we
have players from ten different states.
curve and expect to have better results at
every event.”
Ibarra credits NXL President Tom Cole and
teams like the Vigilantes and the Poynter
Brothers, The Master Blasters, Black
Sunday, the Annihilators, Bad Company
and Desert Edge for the growth of classic
paintball in Mexico, where there are now
seven events in 2019, including the finale
event in Cancun in November.
The team Armada is highly motivated and
has accepted the challenge to be part of
such an important project. We know it is
not going to be easy but we think it is a
great opportunity to learn from the very
best. We’re ready to deal with the learning
