was the “fisherman” hiring some guys from the blue team
to walk his boat through the combat zone near the red
base. If they succeeded he would award the blue team
50 points. They managed to get the boat across the field,
and stop to pose for some pictures! There were also a few
missions that were focused around a nuclear bomb. This
bomb wasn’t your average plastic paintball prop; it was a
huge heavy box that took time and teamwork to move! If
that isn’t more realistic, I don’t know what is.
After the last game, it was time for awards and prizes. MCS
of course had some cool stuff to give away along with a
Tippmann TCR, some DYE stuff, among other prizes. But
what everyone was waiting for was the scores. The stakes
were high, as the losing commander would have to wear a
tutu to all the Viper events this year. So now was the time.
The scores were 354 for the blue team and 398 for the red
team. It was a very close game, but and Greg “Thantos”
Bratulic would now be sporting a tutu for the rest of the
year and Chris “Stryker” Scotting would not. Both teams
fought hard and had a fantastic weekend! Mike Shelby did
a great job and put on a great game! We cannot wait for
next year! • • •
