Photo by John Amodea game beating a really good Houston Heat team 4-3. In the semifinals LA Infamous was matched up against San Diego Dynasty in a really tough game. As Thomas Taylor moved down the field for Infamous he appeared to eliminate two Dynasty players. Either there was a missed call or something I didn’t see happened, but Thomas was shot by one of the previously eliminated players (at least that’s how it looked to me). In the end, that was the deciding point that gave Dynasty the win and sent Infamous home. In the other pro semifinal match Edmonton Impact just destroyed Tampa Bay Damage 8-3. By this point in the event it was really clear that Impact was the best team on the pro fields. When they stepped onto the field to play Dynasty in the finals I would have been shocked if they didn’t win. That’s how well Impact was playing. Dynasty is never a team I would under estimate, but on this day on this field they didn’t have a chance. Edmonton Impact rolls to an 8-4 win. The Semipro division of the NXL Vegas Open saw 22 teams competing in this second toughest division in paintball. The New York Outlaws were the only team to skate through the preliminary rounds undefeated. Charlotte Bloodhounds, Sacramento DMG and the Brooklyn Bears www.paintball.media 037
