The vendor area of the NXL Vegas Open was on the small
side, but that’s to be expected for the first event of the
season. GI Sportz, DYE, Anthrax, Airups, Planet Eclipse
and a handful of other vendors were present.
A LOOK BACK
In the pro ranks it was Edmonton Impact coming off their
2015 professional series rankings title, but finishing with a
rare sixth place at World Cup. San Diego Dynasty won the
2015 Cup, completing one of their best seasons in a while,
taking second place in the series rankings for last year.

Dynasty came into Vegas with one of its best weapons that
were missing last year. Ollie Lang played Vegas and will
presumably be with the team all season in 2016 as they try
to knock Edmonton Impact off of their throne. Although
San Antonio X-Factor finished in eighth place at the 2015
World Cup, their back-to-back second place finishes
earlier gave them the opportunity to finish in third place
in the overall pro year-end standings. Houston Heat and
upTon 187 cRew round out the top five pro teams from
2015. Seattle Uprising dominated the Semipro division last
year with two first place finishes and one second place.
