and fourth respectively. The Master
Blasters, Farside, Chicago Aftershock,
Annapolis A-Team and the Ironmen
would complete the nine team semifinals
bracket.
There were three, three-team brackets in
the Pro semifinals with each team playing
two games (round robin style). A max and
a stalemate points win would get the All
Americans past the Master Blasters (one
max) and Adrenaline (two losses) in the
first bracket. The second bracket saw
Los Angeles get a stalemate points win
and a max, again doing just enough to
get to the next round and sending home
Farside (one max) and Adrenaline (two
losses). Chicago Aftershock maxed both
of their semifinal round games beating
San Diego Dynasty (one max) and the
Ironmen (two losses).
Chicago Aftershock lost their first game to
Los Angeles Infamous on body count and
then bounced back with a win against the
All Americans. The All Americans then lost
their second game on body count to Los
Angeles. The finals ended with Chicago
Aftershock maxing one and losing one,
Los Angeles Infamous winning two games
on points and the All Americans losing
two games.
In the end it was Aftershock with the first
place win with 106 points. The two body
count wins and 43 points for Los Angeles
Infamous was not enough for the win but it
put them ahead of the All Americans with
25 points. This was a classic old school
final round where sometimes a stalemate
win is enough and sometimes it’s not.
