Lots of people remarked how they enjoyed seeing the scores real time on their phones and it did keep people motivated and ready to go. In fact, several people remarked how this fixed the “mission hogs” type of teams that seem to have invaded scenario paintball, as anyone can get and run the mission. The refs enjoyed getting their locations and being able to sign off on missions’ cards via a phone app, and the game director was able to see via GPS where the mission “cards” or people who were signed in were in relation to other teams and the objectives. Towards the end of Saturday was a big battle worth 100 points and the Independents took it, giving them a comfortable 130-point lead going into night play. at about 5:30 AM to wake up players and letting them know that TB and his 10 players who went most of the night off and on, had almost tied the game. By 7:30 AM, it was another slobber knocker, with the blue team (Independents) knocking on the red base (Reavers) door. Again, TB and Smoking Joe ran a helo run and pushed everyone back. Sunday morning also saw the introduction of an air assault mission with helos when Smoking Joe cut a deal with the 3rd Faction (Alliance Remnants, portrayed by Damage Inc) and a 4th group who were looking for the DNA of the leader of the Reavers, securing their 2 aircraft to assist in a Air Assault on the Blue base. With their upgraded helos, pushing out players from the red base all the way to the blue base, and then circling Saturday night turned out to be the pace the blue base, it seemed to signify that the that TB and his Reavers needed as they battle wasn’t over and the red team wasn’t slowly pulled back within 50 and then within going anywhere. 20 again, with Sizzle coming off the field www.paintball.media 075
