The final standing in the Pro Ten-Man easily won their bracket wit maxes against were: MVPS Dark Ops and X-Men. 1. Chicago Aftershock 2. Los Angeles Infamous In the finals Doc’s Warriors were rolled 3. All Americans with maxes against Ground Zero Gold and Team Smoke. Smoke then beat GZ Amateur Ten-Man Games Gold. Fourteen teams entered the Amateur ten- man division of the ICPL Florida event and the scores were all over the map. Of the 56 games played nearly half ended in a tie or low scoring body count win. Ground Zero Gold ran away with the preliminary rounds, scoring 538 points and maxing six games. Their closest preliminary round competitor, Team Smoke, tallied 409 points. Doc’s Warriors finished round one with 405 points and MVPS Dark Ops headed to the semifinals as the number four seed with 348 points. The semifinals saw Ground Zero Gold matched up against their sister “Silver” team and the Ironmen 2. GZ Gold easily took the bracket with two wins in two games. GZ Silver got the win versus the Ironmen 2. The second bracket saw Team Smoke dominate Black Sunday and Ground Zero Gold 24K. Seadogs in the finals to claim first in the Open five- man division. And… The resurgence of ten-man mechanical paintball has breathed some much needed air into the game. It’s opened the door for older, less athletic players to compete and it’s allowed fathers and sons to play together, young and old to play together and it’s brought back a community of players that have been neglected in many ways. 2019 was a good year for mechanical ten-man.
