The blue team was able to build and field
their Juggernaut character, which could
only be eliminated with a nerf rocket hit and
they sent them to harass the red base. They
accomplished this twice before the red team
was able to field their own Juggernaut to push
back, and once again Smoking Joe was able
to work with players like Josh Knutt, Jason
Bryant (Infected), and Candie Turner (Ninja
Death Squad), to build and field Smoking
Joe as the Juggernaut. These players were
instrumental in baiting in the Independents
Juggernaut for an elimination by Candie who
killed tanks, helos, bunkers and Juggernauts
all weekend. Mid Sunday, the game had
its first and only stand down, after a full 24
hours of straight play. Players geared up for
the final battle which was a throwback to the
games of old, with NO slapsticks. You had
to take and own the castle’s 3rd floor. It was
a one-hour constant insertion format, and
the players on both sides did not disappoint.
There were awesome pushes, and great
moves, as it appeared that the game hinged
on the final battle, and who took it would
take the game. And then it was over, with
a significant amount of paint on the castle
walls, players walked off exhausted and full

of as much scenario paintball as one could
play in a 25-hour period.
The awards and scores were announced, and
with the announcement of the scores, the red
team let out a loud shout, as it was declared
based on missions, final battle, and props,
that the red team had come from behind
and pulled out the win. Entering the last
battle with the blue team leading in mission
points, the final battle was worth 100 points,
and then with props there were another 200
points. The big prop swing for red came from
several base drops in the night by Dave Cilio
(Master Blasters), Bobby “Paco” Schnebel
(The Deplorables), and Ethan Harper
(Thunderstruck) who secured over 150 points
in props that the blue team had found. And
that turned out to be what gave the red
side the big push, as the props turned out
to be Pax. If you have watched the movie,
you know Pax is the virus that was created
to make people less warlike but had instead
created the Reavers. It just so happened that
this was a concentrated version of Pax that
the 4th faction which turned out to be Mr.
Weyland and his Cyborg David were looking
for.
